Introduction to the Basics of Electricity. Understanding electricity, electrical terms, understanding volts, circuits, fuses, and breakers, loose connections or damaged wires.  This section also covers Service Drop, Service Entrance Wires, and Service Size.  Overhead or underground, what the number of wires means, common problems with service entrance wires, identifying service sizes, safety issues and key terms.

EL 102 is an overview of the basics of electricity, including Service Boxes, System Grounding, and the  common conditions with the functions of the service boxe, and problems that may be found with grounding systems.  Distribution Panels, wire sizes and fuse sizes, types of fuses and breakers and the problems and conditions of  panels,  fuses and panel sizes. Commonly used key terms are also included.

EL103 will introduce you to the wire and cable types in Branch Circuit Wiring.  Sizes of wire, number of circuits, conductors supports for wires and where wires should and should not be located.  Learn about extension cords, conditions,  common branch circuit wire problems, aluminum wiring, wire over heating and knob-and-tube wire.  Key terms are also listed.

EL104 is an introduction to and the conditions of  Lights, Receptacles, Switches, and Junction Boxes, and the problems encounterd with lighting, receptacles, switches and dimmer switches.  How to  test GFI receptacles and the proper location of outlets.  Connections  and problems with junction boxes, is covered.  The common key terms are also listed.
